About Exiled Canaries

As part of Norwich City's Long Distance Supporters Working Party, this website has been launched to keep Norwich City fans that have moved away from the area aware of supporters groups around them.

With a network of supporters groups already established around the world, exiledcanaries.com aims to make it as easy as possible for exiled supporters to get involved with like-minded people in their area or use the resources on the site to establish their own supporters group with little hassle.

A 'yellow pages' section is available to see supporters groups that have signed up to the club's code of conduct and there's a regular column from 'The Exile', a City supporter that's no longer resident in Norfolk.

Although in it's early stages, the site is here for you so please get in touch and let us know what you'd like available to make supporting Norwich City even easier wherever you are in the world!

exiledcanaries.com and the Long Distance Supporters Working Party

exiledcanaries.com has been set up as part of Norwich City's Long Distance Supporters Working Party, formed by the Supporters Consultative Group (SCG).

The SCG was set up by Norwich City's directors and senior management in 1996. With relations between fans and Club at an all-time low, and the Club trying to recover from a perilous financial position, it was recognised that re-uniting both parties would be crucial to the Club's future success.

The aim of the group is to help improve communication between the Club and its supporters and to encourage frank, open and constructive discussion of the Club's policies and supporter issues on a regular basis, especially those issues which affect supporters most.
